IN-STORE PURCHASES
Information for items purchased at one of our store locations - Auckland or Wellington:
Please choose carefully as we do not give refunds if you simply change your mind or make a wrong decision for any items purchased in-store. We may exchange or issue a store credit for the good/s within 7 days from the purchase date. Proof of purchase must be provided upon return and goods must be in their original condition.
SALE ITEMS
All 'sale' items are final, we are unable to refund, credit or exchange for another item. This includes items purchased during a promotion period. This information is also on the bottom of your in-store receipt.
ONLINE RETURNS & EXCHANGES
Any full-priced item purchased through area51store.co.nz is eligible for exchange or refund if returned within 14 days of the original date of purchase. If you would like to return your online purchase please first email us at online@areafiftyone.co.nz
"Sale" items purchased online are not eligible for a refund, credit or exchange, if you have any issues concerning a sale item please get in contact with online@areafiftyone.co.nz before sending back.
Returns will only be accepted if goods are unworn in original condition/packaging, tags attached. When returning footwear please ensure the box is well protected as this is considered part of the product.
See our returns form here. Please include a copy of this with your returns package so we can identify your order when it comes in. If you are unable to print this, please write on any bit of paper your order number and if you would like a refund or exchange and put this inside the package.
Area 51 is not liable for any packages we do not ship ourselves, or the loss or delay of return packages. The customer must pay for the shipping costs and we recommend using a traceable delivery service for returning orders.
Shipping and handling charges are not refunded unless the original item is deemed as faulty.
All international exchanges will incur an additional shipping charge for us to ship the item back to you. You will need to pay before we can process the exchange. For Australia this is $50. For all New Zealand orders, the additional shipping fee is waived.
FAULTY ITEMS
If your item is faulty or does not correspond with the item presented on area51store.co.nz you may return it. Please contact us as soon as you notice the fault.
Once we receive the item we will repair, replace or refund the item. The process we follow is in that order.
If the item is faulty, we will refund the cost of returning the item and cover shipping costs for the replacement or repaired item.
LOST PARCELS
In the unfortunate event that a parcel is lost in transit, Area 51 will replace or refund the item once the investigation is completed. However, if the order can be tracked to have arrived at its correct final destination, Area 51 is not liable for the order.
SPECIAL RELEASES
- One pair per person
- All special release product is final sale. No returns or exchanges will be accepted.
- We reserve the right to cancel any orders that do not adhere to the above or at our discretion.
